Your Special Delivery Birthing Center was created out of a desire to offer a safe alternative to home delivery and a growing demand for birthing options by parents who respect family feelings.

The comfortable, home-like atmosphere offers private intimacy in a medically-supported environment. The professional nursing staff is committed to the philosophy that birth can be a healthy, normal event that does not require medical intervention except in specific circumstances. Because we are dedicated to respecting your individuality, the Special Delivery Birthing Center offers you the best advantages of a home birth with additional comfort and safety for both you and your baby.



Our Special Delivery Birthing Center is now designated as Blue Distinction Maternity Center by Highmark West Virginia.
